Open a table, send the code, and play. Nobody without the code can sit down, nothing is rated, and the table stays open between hands — so an evening of 28 works the way it does at a kitchen table, with a rematch button instead of a reshuffle.

How it works
Three steps, and one of them is sending a message.

Open the table
Choose the format — a race to a target score, a fixed number of hands, or a single hand — and how long players get to think.

Send the code
Five characters, short enough to read down a phone line. Anyone with it can take a seat, from a browser or a phone.

Play as long as you like
The table does not close when a hand ends. Deal again, swap seats, or let somebody drop out and a bot take the chair.
What you get
The things that make an evening work.
- Never rated
- A private table cannot move anybody’s rating, in either direction. That is deliberate: it means nothing is at stake and it means nobody can farm a ladder position against a cooperative friend.
- Invite by code or by name
- Send the room code to anyone, or invite a friend from your list and they get a notification with a seat waiting.
- Bots for empty chairs
- If somebody has to leave, a bot can take the seat at one of four difficulties so the other three can keep playing.
- Spectators welcome
- Somebody learning the game can watch the table without taking a seat — they see what a spectator sees, never anybody’s hand.
- Everyone can reconnect
- The match runs on the server. A dropped connection, a closed tab or a dead battery does not end the hand for the other three.
- Browser and phone together
- A room made on a laptop is joinable from a phone and the other way round. Nobody has to install anything to be the fourth.
When it becomes a habit
A club is a private table that never closes.
If the same people keep meeting at the same table, make it a club. A club has a permanent table, a member list, its own internal ranking and a record of every match it has played — so the group has somewhere to exist between evenings.
